News~!! ^^
EagerAfter my boy got crushed by the car, he was laid off, due to being unable to lift the required weight. However, this has only meant unemployment, more time together, and more opportunities to get him into a different field. Since it got him out of that night shift, things have been a little rough, but not nearly as bad as before. We're good and happy. However, the day that he got laid off, we also found out something else.
I am gonna have a baby! ^^
Right now, I am about twelve and half weeks pregnant, and starting to poke out a little. Morning sickness only materializes when I don't eat (how being sick makes you want to eat more, I have no idea. Way to go nature XD) and aside from being kinda tired, not much has changed. I have changed my diet to fit bebe's needs and issues, and am on prenatal vitamins. The possible miscarriage time slot has almost passed, so I have a lot less chance now, and if the timing works out right I'll be delivering May 11th.
However, seeing as I was two months early, the only bad thing would be if I delivered in March or April before I finish finals next semester. Even though it wasn't planned, miracle baby's timing is not bad at all. If all goes well, I will have it-- the LAST DAY of FINALS. XD XD XD
This will give me summer to get used to having a newborn and then leave me with a mere 8 hours left til I have my degree! So I won't be swamped+baby for Fall '10, my last semester. It'll be some design, some production help, and two legit classes: senior seminar and one 4490.
We decided on names, and sadly, the FF influence is showing through no matter how we try to rationalize it. >< For a girl, we picked Terra (yes, after Terra Branford,Bradford?), which means Earth in the latin and Temple in Japanese, and for a boy, Claude, pronounced Cloud XD, after Claude Debussy. But I'd be lying if I didn't note that, being pronounced the same, his name would be "Kuraudo" in Japanese, like the FF character XD XD XD.
Also I am currently looking for costume ideas for preggo women and babies, so I can cosplay with this new addition to the family. If anyone has any good ideas, let me know! I'll be 7 months for Momo-Con and have a little one for AWA, so the possibilities are endless!!! ^^
